Pop Up Jazz Class for MN with Sara Rodriguez

from $15.00

If you’re feeling like you want to scream but also actively do something to help as we watch the terror happening in Minnesota… you’re not alone. So we’re going to dance to achieve both.

WHEN: Saturday, January 31, 2026 from 1–3PM
WHERE: Ripley Grier, 520 8th Ave, Studio 16E
WHAT: INT/ADV jazz class (full warm up, technical across the floor, + combo)

A donation of $15-20 secures your spot for this two-hour class. All proceeds will go to Wellstone Elementary School families in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Wellstone is beautiful school community where the vast majority of families are or live with immigrants, and as ICE continues deploying chaos and violence throughout the Twin Cities, many of the children and their families have been staying home out of fear for their safety. Kids aren’t able to go to school, parents and guardians aren’t able to go to work. Anything we can send will go immediately into their pockets to help them get through this unthinkable time. My beautiful, wonderful artist friend Casey Maher is an on-the-ground Minnesotan and her friend teaches at this school. I’m so grateful she suggested we put our collective efforts towards doing our small part to support these sweet families.
